 The following local classes are not listed in the provincial syllabus and therefore not eligible for the Provincial Festival.

School Chorus :
Class 02012 – Medley of Songs – Grades 4-6 one medley, own choice
Class 09250 – Classroom Music – Kindergarten/ECS one selection, own choice
Class 02014 – Concert Class – Grades 4-6 Maximum of 3 Songs, may include popular songs
Class 02013 – Garage Band – own choice, maximum of 3 songs

Local Piano Solo Classes:
Class 01984 – Sacred Class – one selection, own choice (This class may be divided by age.)
Class 01986 – Accompanying Class – one selection, own choice, entrant must provide their own singer or instrumentalist
Class 02011 – Piano Improvisation – one selection, own choice, enter by Grade level
Class 01420 – Piano Duet – Primo/Secondo- Unequal parts- Students from different Grade levels, one selection, own choice

Class 01421 – Piano Duet – Primo/Secondo- Equal parts- Students from different Grade levels, one selection, own choice
 
Novice & Special Study: Competitor other piano classes, may not enter other piano classes:          
Class 00140 – Piano Special Study, not more than 9 months study

Class 00141 – Piano Special Study, not more than 18 months study
Class 00150 – Method Book Class, one selection, own choice, 6 years & under
Class 00151– Method Book Class, one selection, own choice, 8 years  & under

​Class 00160 – Piano Novice 1, one selection, own choice, 1st year of study
Class 00161 – Piano Novice 2, one selection, own choice, 2nd year of study

Class 00162– Piano Novice 3, one selection, own choice, 3rd  year of study
Class 00170 – Novice 1, Piano Duet, one selection, own choice, both must be 1st year of study
Class 00171 – Novice 2, Piano Duet, one selection, own choice, both ​must be 2nd year of study

Class 00180- Piano Novice 1- Concert Class- two or more selections, own choice, first year of study.
Class 00181- Piano Novice 2- Concert Class- two or more selections, own choice, second year of study.
Class 00182- Piano Novice 3- Concert Class- two or more selections, own choice, third year of study. 

Class 00190- Student/Adult Duet- adjudication only

Plectrum Guitar
Class 02017 – Plectrum Guitar Duet – can be different levels, one selection, own choice

Class 02018 - Plectrum Guitar 1st Year of Study
Class 02020 – String/Vocal Ensemble – any string instrument with vocal accompaniment, one selection, own choice​
